Whether the result is infection, pregnancy, or emotional
trauma, teen sex has a devastating cost.  Yet, teens do
have the ability to make a choice to protect their health
and their heart.

Concerned About Teen Sexuality  (C.A.T.S.) is a group of students
that believe
sexual abstinence before marriage has value.  The
C.A.T.S. program helps teens realize that their actions have
consequences and that their choices matter.

C.A.T.S. works with teachers to ensure that the program meets the
needs of their classes and includes appropriate and relevant information.

Teen Sexuality
You want to help them? C.A.T.S. can help you.
A typical C.A.T.S. presentation
takes 1 class period & includes:

  • A panel of 3-5 student speakers
  • Visual aids, skits, and interactive
    lessons
  • A variety of discussion topics
    and answers to questions about
    social pressures, dating,
    boundaries, and more.
Peer-to-peer communication is a
powerful tool.  High school and
college students committed to a
lifestyle of sexual integrity present
their perspective on
  • avoiding, confronting or
    recovering from sexual
    pressure
  • healthy dating ideas
  • the benefits of waiting
  • the consequences of
    becoming sexually active
    before marriage
C.A.T.S. present to middle and
high school students at area
schools and community/church
youth groups in teams, and
answer questions as a panel,
provide interactive games and
skits to encourage the choice of
purity and sexual integrity.
A Message for Teens Delivered by Teens
"The CATS team made me realize
I don’t need to have sex to prove I
love someone, and I’m gonna
change my ways.  You guys
probably saved me"

- Student
"Because of my decision to wait,
I sometimes feel out of the
ordinary.  It's good to know there
are teens who share my views."

- Student
"When the C.A.T.S. students show
up and play games, present skits
and involve students in activities
that demonstrate the dangers of
sexual activities, it makes
everything real for my students.  I
am so proud of these young adults!
What wonderful role models for
our youth!"

- Teacher
Teens today are
facing some
serious decisions
about sex.
