| It's time for Baby Bottle Boomerang! |
Baby Bottle Boomerang is annual project to focus the attention of the
Body of Christ on praying for and investing in the mission to empower
women to choose life.
This year, Aid to Women is making an important announcement about
where God is taking the ministry in 2010. We will be sharing this
announcement through Baby Bottle Boomerang.
Aid to Women is the bridge God has created between the local church and
abortion-vulnerable women. Without Christians stepping forward to serve,
pray, and give, Aid to Women would just be an empty building. But, when you
answer God's call to be a part of this ministry, lives are saved and hearts are
redeemed!
Here's the basic overview of BBB:
Kick-off Sunday, you share about Aid to Women during your service. This is
the perfect time to educate your church family about the tragedy of abortion,
God's response through Aid to Women, and how your church can get
involved. You explain how Baby Bottle Boomerang is a great first step!
Individuals and families pick up a bottle (provided by Aid to Women) on
kick-off Sunday. They keep the bottle for 3 weeks, filling the bottle with a gift
for the ministry (coins, cash, or checks). The bottle also serves as a visual
reminder to pray for the ministry during those weeks.
Bottles are collected by ambassadors and returned to Aid to Women.
